Finding your monster-music moment
Think of the party in three acts. Open with a greeting, turn up the energy for a stomp-and-wiggle section, then finish with something gentle. A short set list makes it easier for children to know what is coming next and gives the party a satisfying ending. If someone doesn't feel like dancing, offer them the role of conductor or cheerleader.
Try these ideas together
- 1
Open the stage
Use Tiny Kaiju Says Hello as your imaginary opening announcement. Everyone chooses a monster stage name.
- 2
Let the band take over
Play Dopey Dragon Dance followed by Stomp Stomp Splash! and invite each participant to create one move.
- 3
Finish with friendship
Wrap up with Best Friends Forever while everyone takes a bow or gives a friendly wave.
Questions families ask
How many songs do we need?
Three or four are plenty for a mini party; replay favourites if the group asks.
Can adults join in?
Absolutely. An enthusiastic grown-up who doesn't mind being silly can make the whole game more welcoming.
